Looks very comforting!
it did create a nice glow...
nice to have firelight in the dark.
actually I was kind of thinking it was like a coal mine and brought to mind forced labor...
i prefer to think of it as cozy, but see what you will...
cozy? but you can almost -hear- the clang of crude tools, taste the salt sweat of men, the far-off drone of the ventilation fan...
'course, I suppose a coal mine could be cozy, if you looked at it a certain way. snug, secure, and everyone's all slippery.
does it count for anything that it was actually a low brick wall under a wisteria tree with the sounds of a fountain nearby?
don't forget the poor canaries!!
